My wonderful friend Amanda came into town for a wedding in Jamestown, VA just before my husband and I were moving to Boston. Since we had basically finished up packing, and Amanda had the ability to bring a plus one, I decided it would be a great opportunity to test out the new 5D mark II. The ceremony was held at the historic Jamestown Church, right at the site where Pocahontas and John Rolfe got married.
After the ceremony, the reception took place at an adorable B&B in Newport News.
At the reception site they had the most unique “guest book” I had ever seen. They had a canvas and paint and asked people to paint on it so they could hang it in their living room. While some people signed it with their initials, many people got creative. It ended up being a beautiful piece of modern art by the end of the wedding.
