It’s never too late to live happily ever after!

Betty and Ed are living proof that it’s never too late to live happily ever after and that it is the love between the couple that is the best wedding decoration.  Betty found an amazing FREE location (yes such things exist!) at the Burke Braddock Supervisor’s Office attached to the public library that looked for all the world like a chapel inside.  Her friend decorated the room beautifully with tulle and silk flowers.  Outside was a fabulous butterfly garden with tons of butterflies and beautiful flowers.  Betty even experienced the “lucky” tradition of getting a spider in her dress before the ceremony.  I promptly removed it and then let her know how they say that finding a spider in your dress is considered the luckiest thing possible for a bride in England.  While the setting was lovely, the love between Ed and Betty was so genuine and beautiful, it made it nearly impossible to notice any thing else that day.  Betty cried beautiful glistening tears of joy that day that the light from behind them highlighted.  Her bouquet and all the corsages were silk as well.  I was so impressed at how real they looked.  So for all you brides out there trying to figure out a good way to save money on flowers by doing tiny bouquets, or skipping corsages, take a cue from Betty, and give silk flowers a try.
